Delete your account in the app

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside GoodPAW. No email or support request is needed.

1. Open GoodPAW and go to Account.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Sign in again when asked. This confirms that it is really you making the request.
4. Confirm the deletion.

Deletion is immediate. Your sign-in stops working straight away, your data is removed at that moment, and any public links you had shared stop working. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

If you can no longer sign in

If you have lost access to your account — for example you no longer control the email address or sign-in method you registered with — email info@chromawaveconsulting.com with the subject line "GoodPAW account deletion request", and tell us the email address the account was registered under.

We will ask you to prove that the account is yours before acting, so that nobody else can delete it. We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete them within 30 days of confirming your identity, and we email you when it is done. A request made this way deletes and keeps exactly the same things as deleting in the app.

Your Google Play subscription is separate

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you. Google Play bills the subscription, so it must be cancelled in Google Play: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions, or at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Cancel it before or after deleting your account — the two are independent, and deleting your account leaves the subscription exactly as it was.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, everything that identifies you is removed at once:

• Your sign-in and your user profile
• Everything you created in the app — site documents and their blocks, media, annotations and drawings; conversations, projects and workspaces; your crowdsourcing statistics and contribution history; and your progress and achievements
• Your contributor profile
• Your free-trial usage counter (after the fingerprint described below has been taken)
• Licence seats you hold or paid for, trial and purchase intents, and any older-style licences
• Document shares you created — public links stop working immediately
• All files you uploaded

What is kept, and for how long

After deletion we keep only the following. Nothing else that identifies you remains.

• A free-trial fingerprint — a one-way, irreversible token derived from your account email and the number of free assistant queries you used. Kept indefinitely, so that deleting an account and creating a new one does not earn a fresh free trial. It cannot be turned back into your email address.
• The purchase record for any paid subscription — order details, product, purchase date and the purchase email. Kept for seven years from the purchase, the same period as tax records, marked as belonging to a deleted account, then deleted automatically. If you never bought anything, there is no purchase record.
• Anonymous AI-usage billing figures — token counts, cost, feature, model and date for the assistant queries you ran. Kept indefinitely for platform cost accounting. They are not linked to you and contain no question or answer text.
• Assistant feedback you submitted — a rating and any free-text comment, together with the query it referred to. Kept for twelve months from submission, then deleted outright. It carries no account identifier.
• Fraud and security records — licence- and security-violation records, access logs, and the related notifications sent to our administrators. Kept as they are, for as long as they are needed to prevent fraud and protect the service and its users. These can contain your account identifier and your device identifiers.
• Community data with your name removed — venues and survey sessions you contributed to the shared community data, with the creator marked as anonymous, and aggregate product-analytics events with your user identifier removed. They remain in the community data set in that anonymous form.
• The anonymous network-measurement pool — signal measurements contributed to the shared coverage map carry no identifier at all, by design, and are unchanged by deletion.
• Platform request logs — held by Google Cloud, our hosting provider, for the log retention period configured for our project. They can contain your account identifier until they age out and are deleted automatically.
