What if scope changes mid-build?
It happens, and the milestone structure is built for it. Small adjustments get absorbed into the current milestone. Bigger changes become a written change order with its own price and timeline before we build it — so scope never drifts silently and you never get a surprise invoice. Completed milestones are never retroactively repriced.
Who owns the IP?
You do. All work product — code, designs, documentation — is assigned to you on payment, full stop. We may reuse generic, non-client-specific techniques and internal tooling, but everything built for your business belongs to your business.
Do you work with our existing team and stack?
Yes. Most engagements plug into an existing codebase, cloud account, or in-house team. We work in your repos and your review process where you have them, and we would rather extend your stack than rewrite it — rewrites are recommended only when we can defend the math.
How do you use AI on client code, and what about confidentiality?
AI-augmented engineering happens inside accounts and API agreements where your code is not used to train models. Access is scoped to the engagement, secrets never go into prompts, and every AI-produced line is reviewed by a senior engineer before it reaches your repo. We will happily walk through the specifics — tools, data handling, and agreements — before you share anything, and we sign NDAs as a matter of course.
